Westone Bit’s “Clockwork Aquario” is Lost No More; Coming Soon to Consoles
ININ Games has released the first teaser trailer for Clockwork Aquario, the final arcade game ever created by Westone Bit Entertainment. While the unfinished title was once believed to be lost after 1993, Clockwork Aquario was rescued from obscurity thanks to the efforts of German publisher Strictly Limited Games.
Retro gamers familiar with Westone’s Wonder Boy series should immediately see a resemblance, as Clockwork Aquario shares a similar style and design, but you can see this for yourself in the trailer below.
Clockwork Aquario will finally is currently scheduled to release digitally in Q2/2021 for Nintendo Switch tand PS4. Multiple physical editions are also coming from Strictly Limited Games, including collector’s editions that come packaged with an acrylic diorama, 2x soundtrack (original & remix), an arcade coin (100-yen-style), character cards, and 18cm figurines of Elle, Huck and Gush and a Shikishi.
