Not to be confused with “In-law Days Revelation of a Loyalist”… these titles write themselves!

On Wednesday, independent comic book creator Ben Fuselier launched a crowdfunding campaign for Outlaw Nights Genesis of a Renegade parts 1 and 2, a sci-fi action/adventure story intended for mature audiences (16 and up, recommended).

Written by Fuselier and book 1 featuring artwork by Render Contender, Simon Pothier, Press Color, and book 2 featuring illustrations by Michael Beacon and colors by Juanito Arcoiris Marcos Martin, Outlaw Nights is described as being for fans of pirates, westerns, cyberpunk, action, guns, space ships, “blue collar” sci-fi, heists, and space operas.

Welcome to the 31st Century!

Humanity has expanded its dominion into the vast, unconquerable reaches of space. The history of discovery and colonialism repeats itself, as the nations of earth are in deadly competition over territory and resources.

World War 3 has left the Inland (Earth) in a state of unrest.

Refugees seek their independence and fortune in the Outlands (the Colonies).

A New Golden Age of Piracy has been born.

Cyrus Lawson, a young American refugee, sought to escape the tumult and chaos by working the Colony Guard of a small, out of the way British Colony known as Terez.

His quiet existence is interrupted with a BANG!

The pirates of the ship Hazard invade Terez in search of a special data fragment. This fragment holds a secret that has every important eye searching for it.

Nations, pirates, rogues, wealthy business moguls; everyone has a stake in this venture.

Now, our young and naive hero must learn how to survive this landscape and redefine his rigid “black and white” sense of morality. Nothing is simple anymore…
