Illustrated Grindhouse Cinema Magazine “Bolt Action” Now on Fund My Comic (Crowdfunding Spotlight)
Veteran comic book creator Tim Tyler recently launched a crowdfunding campaign for the first three issues of Bolt Action, an “illustrated grindhouse cinema magazine.”
Written and illustrated by Tyler, Bolt Action is a horror-action anthology series of sorts for mature readers only.
Here’s the official pitch taken from the Bolt Action Fund My Comic campaign page:
The BOLT Theater! An Urban Legend, or something more?
Bolt Action tells the story of the Haunted Theater known as THE BOLT that mysteriously burned to the ground on a cold eve in 1936, killing the entire crew. But the tale didn’t end with ashes. For now, the ghostly Theater and it’s strange crew members, appear at random places and times, exactly at Midnight, and show the greatest and strangest Grindhouse films to anyone who is lucky enough to possess a Ticket.
Hosted by the seductive head Usher, “Rhonda” and the Basement dwelling “Cleaning Crew”, Bolt Action is a unique comic that is truly like no other out there.
And now, the first 3 issues can be yours…..IF you have a Ticket.

Backers can get each issue of Bolt Action individually for $10-$15, or all three issues for $35. Each issue comes with a bonus ticket and lobby card. It is also worth noting that there is an additional shipping charge starting at $6 for those in the United States.
