Konami’s Retro Arcade Puzzler “Guttang Gottong” Now on PS4, Nintendo Switch
Publisher Hamster has announced that Guttang Gottong is now available on Nintendo Switch and PS4 as part of the digital Arcade Archives series.
Originally released in Japanese arcades by Konami in 1982 and later ported to the Intellivision and MSX, Guttang Gottong (ガッタンゴットン) is known as Loco-Motion in the West.
Similar to those familiar little sliding tray/tile puzzles (though I don’t know if they have a proper name), players must slide the panels on a grid to guide trains to each station on the stage. This Arcade Archives version includes both a Japanese version and international version, both with slightly different experiences.
Like other Arcade Archives titles, players can post their high scores to the online leaderboards and change various game settings to match their own personal skill levels and taste.
Arcade Archives Guttang Gottong is available today for $7.99 via PSN and the Nintendo Switch eShop.
