Konami’s “Shao-Lin’s Road” Now on PS4, Nintendo Switch via the Arcade Archives

Turn right on Yie Ar Avenue.

Publisher Hamster has announced that Shao-Lin’s Road is now available on Nintendo Switch and PS4 as part of the digital Arcade Archives series.

Originally released in Japanese arcades by Konami in 1985, Shao-Lin’s Road was later ported to the Amstrad CPC, Commodore 64, and ZX Spectrum, Shao-Lin’s Road is a follow-up to Yie Ar Kung Fu

Players take control of Wanpyou, a student of Chin-Style Shao-Lin martial arts who is held captive in Jaken Temple by the evil Yamucha Gang who has assassinated your master. Now you must use your fists and feet to escape, with a little help from martial arts magic, too.

Like other Arcade Archives titles, players can post their high scores to the online leaderboards and change various game settings to match their own personal skill levels and taste.

Arcade Archives Shao-Lin’s Road is available today for $7.99 via PSN and the Nintendo Switch eShop.
