Stuntman Comics recently launched a crowdfunding campaign for Super Dead 2, a 48-page superhero book with a horror twist.

The project is already fully funded, having raised nearly $10 thousand at the time of this writing.

Written by Mandy Summers and illustrated by Peter Gilmore, Super Dead 2 picks up where the first book left off. Here’s the official pitch taken from the Stuntman Comics website:

The Story Continues…

After taking his revenge on the city that had forgotten him, Devour rests upon a throne of bones and corpses. But, revenge is not enough. He must search for the true reason his powers were taken, causing his mutation, and many foes still stand in the way of the answers he seeks.

Makenzie searches for help in New Astoria to defeat Sever and Afterlife once and for all. She believes she’s looking for a hero and is sure to find more trouble along the way.
