On Wednesday, renowned comic book creator Kenneth Rocafort launched a crowdfunding campaign for Groken 3, a 48+ page sci-fi/fantasy graphic novel.

The project is already fully funded, having raised roughly $50 thousand at the time of this writing.

Written, illustrated, lettered and edited (is that a good idea?) by Rocafort, Groken 3 is the latest installment of the mythology-inspired series told through Rocafort’s unique avant-garde visuals.

Here’s the official pitch taken from the Groken 3 Indiegogo campaign page:

GROKEN is a graphic novel series of more than forty-eight full color pages in the genre of sci-fi and fantasy.

This Odyssey is set in a rotten era where myths were sadly forgotten and science corrupted the hopes of a good tomorrow.  A singular theory makes the regiment shudder and the system fears that the secret will be revealed and that the right to the crown will be claimed by the myth, a creature who bears the name of GROKEN.

GROKEN.

Born as a beast, forged as a man.

Backers can get a copy of Groken 3 for $25. If you have more cash to spend, you can also receive the following tchotchkes and extras:

It is also worth noting that there is an additional shipping charge starting at $15 (!) for those in the United States.
