Konami’s Retro Arcade Puzzler “Cue Brick” Now on PS4, Nintendo Switch

The password is “fidelio.”

Publisher Hamster has announced that Cue Brick is now available on Nintendo Switch and PS4 as part of the digital Arcade Archives series.

Originally released in Japanese arcades by Konami in 1989 and later ported to the Sharp X68000, this is the first time that Cue Brick (aka Cueb Runner) is seeing an official release outside of Nippon.

In Cue Brick, players slide a set of blocks to create a safe path for continuously moving balls to follow (somewhat similar to Junction). It seems as though Cue Brick got lost in the Tetris-era puzzle game craze, but if you’re a brain teaser aficionado, there are 101 stages to activate your almonds.

Like other Arcade Archives titles, players can post their high scores to the online leaderboards and change various game settings to match their own personal skill levels and taste.

Arcade Archives Cue Brick is available today for $7.99 via PSN and the Nintendo Switch eShop.
