New comic anthology “Legends of the Lone Wolf” features a centuries-old battle against the undead
On Wednesday, Doug Garrett launched a crowdfunding campaign for Legends of the Lone Wolf, an all-new comic anthology featuring the titular Native American hunter of the undead.
Here’s a summary of the project taken from the Indiegogo campaign page.
“This full color 80 page anthology was handcrafted by a series of different teams. As the character’s creator, I joined with artists Marshall Lee and Jeremy Peerboom to tell two different tales from Wolf’s past. I also enlisted the talents of Cal Jameson, J. Paul Schiek, Jameson McCrann and Joey Tremblay to join me in the storytelling.
“Unlike other anthology books, Legends of the Lone Wolf also contains a 38 page feature length supernatural story designed by Matthew Merz and Mior Muneer. That’s nearly twice the size of a regular comic book!”
Backers can get a copy of Legends of the Lone Wolf for $20, while there are several options for those who want to spend more, including extra copies of the book, a hardback edition, and a copy of the original Lone Wolf number one (of which we posted unboxing video here).
