“Atelier Ryza” tracking to be best-selling game of the Atelier series

Publisher Koei Tecmo recently announced that Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout has sold over 350,000 copies worldwide across all platforms since the game launched last year. That’s quite a girthy thicc stack of sales for a niche title.
With those numbers, Atelier Ryza will very likely become the best-selling Atelier game in the series, overtaking 2015’s Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book which sold approximately 370,000 units.
Atelier Ryza was a success right out of the gate. The game sold approximately 150,000 copies in the first week after its Japanese release, making it the most successful launch in the history of the Atelier franchise. For comparison, other Atelier titles typically sell approximately 50,000 copies in their first week.
Congratulations to Koei Tecmo on a successful release. Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout is currently available for Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Steam PC.
