Switch Version of “The Outer Worlds” Delayed due to Coronavirus

Game publisher Private Division has delayed the Switch port of The Outer Worlds thanks to the coronavirus outbreak in China. The game was originally planned for a 6 March release date, but is now delayed indefinitely.
I know what you’re thinking… “So my gaming bliss is now being impacted by a bunch of bat-soup-eating communists?!?” Yep. Pretty much. There is a slight silver lining, however, as the retail release of The Outer Worlds will now be on a cartridge, not just a download code.
Here’s the message from Private Division:
“We’re delaying The Outer Worlds on Nintendo Switch due to the coronavirus impacting the Virtuos team working on the port, to provide them enough time to finish development. We’ll now be releasing the physical version on cartridge. Once we have a new launch date, we’ll let you know!”
If you can’t wait for the Switch version, The Outer Worlds is currently available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Communism, kids. Not even once.
