“Baroque: Original Edition” coming to Switch in 2020
On Thursday, game developer Sting Entertainment announced that they will be bringing Baroque to the Japanese Nintendo Switch eShop in the form of Baroque: Original Edition.

Baroque was originally released for the SEGA Saturn in 1998 and ported to PlayStation in 1999. A remake was later released for the PS2 (2007) and Nintendo Wii (2008) that included the option to play from a third-person perspective, among other gameplay updates. This new Original Edition for the Switch will be based on the original (*derp*) 32-bit version, though undoubtedly updated to take advantage of the Switch hardware. Baroque is an action game featuring Roguelike RPG elements, and all previous releases have been noted for their high level of difficulty.
Baroque: Original Edition is slated to release for the Nintendo Switch sometime in 2020. There is no information regarding a western release at this time.
