Indiegogo Campaign for Dan Plegel’s “The Goblin Girl” Fully Funded on Day One

On Tuesday, independent comic book creator Dan Plegel launched a crowdfunding campaign for The Goblin Girl, a girthy 80+ page (64+ pages of story), dark humor fantasy book bursting at the seams with assets. The project is already fully funded, having raised more than $5 thousand at the time of this writing.

Written and illustrated by Plegel and featuring colors by Billy Bacsko and lettering by Matt Bahr, The Goblin Girl is described as an “adventure of epic cleaving and cleavage proportions!”

Here’s from The Goblin Girl Indiegogo campaign page:

Do you seek adventure? Sword and sorcery tales overflowing with blood and gore?! Then The Goblin Girl is the title for you, friend! More than sixty four (64) full color pages of dark fantasy. A tome of gruesome, disgusting, vile and treacherous tales of the hideously grotesque “Ghin” the Goblin Girl! If that’s not enough, friend?!

There’s also a Heavy Helping of MASSIVE BOOBS! Yes, FRIEND! BOOBS!

This tale isn’t just about boobs, friend! Well, not completely about boobs. It’s a tale of the Goblin Girl and her childhood protector Rathul who helps her escape from a prophecy execution by her own family. You will witness epic battles with ancient malevolent and cruel monsters in a decaying medieval world! Extreme gore, viscera and life juices of all kinds to thrill for your valuable coin!

Backers can get either a color or grayscale version of The Goblin Girl for $30. If you have more cash to spend, you can also pick up the following:

  • Multiple copies of the book
  • A sketchbook
  • Sticker Set
  • Art print set
  • A Goblin Girl mouse pad
  • A ring artifact
  • Original Sketch
  • Original page artwork
  • A reprint edition of the original 2011 Goblin Girl proof of concept book
  • The chance to have your likeness drawn into the final book

It is also worth noting that there is an additional shipping charge starting at $10 for those in the United States.
