Sexy Gunslingers Vs. Undead Outlaws in “Dead End Moon” (Crowdfunding Spotlight)

Independent comic book producers Mike Tener and Alice Yurick recently launched a crowdfunding campaign for Dead End Moon, the first issue of a supernatural western limited series.

Written by Scott Wilke (The Legend of Everett Forge) and featuring illustrations by Gwynn Tavares (Amelia Sky) and lettering by Dave Lentz, Dead End Moon pits a superhuman gunslinger against a horde of mythological horrors in her quest for revenge.

Here’s the official plot synopsis taken from the Dead End Moon Indiegogo campaign page:

From a cursed eye that sees the spirit realm to enchanted pistols that never miss, Maggie “Magpie” Dean is a bounty Hunter equipped to handle the most dangerous of supernatural threats.

Guided by the Dead End Moon (an ancient spirit), Maggie shoots her way through vampires, werewolves, and other mythical creatures, just to bring herself closer to her father’s killer… a mysterious figure known as “The Dead Man”.

Travel with Maggie on her path of vengeance through the weird and Wild West in this limited series.

Backers can get a digital version of Dead End Moon for $5 while physical copies (plus a digital version, too) start at $10. If you have more money to spend, you can also pick up the following:

  • Multiple copies of the book
  • Variant covers
  • “Naughty” edition covers

It is also worth noting that there is an additional shipping charge starting at $5 for those in the United States.
