Authors and Dragons’ “Chronicles of Calamity Issue 3” Now on Indiegogo (Crowdfunding Spotlight)

Authors and Dragons recently launched a crowdfunding campaign for Chronicles of Calamity issue 3, a new fantasy adventure.

Created by the folks at the Authors and Dragons Podcast, the Chronicles of Calamity campaign page is an odd one. There’s no creative team listed, no trailer, no full page artwork to show off, and no page count, either (though the previous issues were advertised as 24-26 pages, so it’s probably somewhere in that ballpark).

Here’s the brief pitch taken from the Chronicles of Calamity Indiegogo campaign page:

Get A Fistful of Brandon Thighmaster!

The wort of adventurer’s are back, and a new hero joins the fray! Everyone’s favorite mostly nude monk- Brandon Thighmaster!

Perhaps the most muscular issue yet, the boys are back with snark, filth, and extreme violence in this lovingly rendered recreation of the most vascular dungeons and dragons podcast on the web!

Backers can get a digital version of Chronicles of Calamity issue 3 for $5, while physical copies start at $10. If you have more cash to spend, you can also pick up the following tchotchkes and extras:

  • Multiple copies of the book
  • Signed Postcards
  • Sticker Pack
  • An Enamel Pin
  • Original Page Artwork
  • Digital copies of issues 1 and 2 if you want to catch up

It is also worth noting that there is an additional shipping charge starting at $3 for those in the United States.

Interested? You can check out the some of the artwork from the perk selection boxes, or visit the full Chronicles of Calamity issue 3 Indiegogo campaign page here.
