October is upon us.

We certainly enjoy our theme events here at The Splintering – 80s August, Monochrome May, and Jolly Jinglings – they all hold a special place in our hearts. But we have to give credit where credit is due, and that is to the theme event that started them all: October’s Festival of Dread!

And we’ve put in a lot of extra effort to make this year’s Festival of Dread one for the ages. We have plenty of Halloween-themed pieces coming your way, including features, video game and comic book reviews, the return of Silent Movie Reviews, and more!
