The Great Coin Trouble Continues in “Goblin and Coins II” Coming to Steam PC in April

Straight outta Serbia, the one-man development machine Nikola Bulj has announced that Goblin and Coins II is set to release in April on Steam PC.

A sequel to the 2016 original, Goblin and Coins II is a 2D platformer crafted with a specific aim of incorporating feedback and features requested by fans of the first game. Players take on the role of “Little Goblin”, who must navigate a fantasy-inspired world designed with a retro-inspired pixel art aesthetic.

Here’s the official breakdown of Goblin and Coins II from Bulj, followed by a recent trailer:

Years have passed, decades maybe. Little goblin moved on, all but forgot about the great coin trouble, not even realizing that a new trouble is awaiting behind the doors!

Run and jump through a new adventure, explore the world, collect coins, unlock upgrades, revisit levels to find secrets and face enemies old and new.

What’s new?

  • Improved graphics, extended mechanics and simple puzzles
  • Create your own difficulty by getting or ignoring the upgrades
  • Revisit levels, find secrets, optional easier start for the new players
  • No game over – there’s a secret way to regain your lost lives…

Goblin and Coins II is currently scheduled to release for Steam PC in April 2023.
