On James D. Lee recently launched a crowdfunding campaign for The Stines, a 48-page fantasy horror comic featuring quite the bosomy bloodsucker… and some other guy… Count V… something…
Written and illustrated by James D Lee and colors by Gabe Eltaeb, The Stines is an epic vampire story centuries in the making.
Here’s the official pitch taken from the The Stines Indiegogo campaign page:
The Year 1507. The Battle of Kenatvia has taken place. On the brink of Death, Count Valdisoph Vicious Vonkomfoang lies dying. He made a Holy Blood Oath to his brother, The Great Prince VonStine, to always protect and defend the country and family. Now, as the Great Prince lies dead and the Count close to death. Time has stopped, and a deal has been made.
Now the Count, with one last chance, will stand and ride to save the kingdom one last time. But not as a human but as a Vampire. Unknown to him this choice will send him and his family into darkness for over 500 years.
