DarkGift Comics’ “Lightbringer: Genesis” Volume 2 Now on Indiegogo

Soooo…. Satan?

Over the weekend, DarkGift Comics launched a crowdfunding campaign for Lightbringer: Genesis Volume 2, a 32-page, black and white fantasy book.

Written by Elizabeth “Iron Liz” Skochil and featuring illustrations by Dean James, volume 2 picks up where the first Lightbringer: Genesis left off, and the creators point out that the book is already 2/3 complete.

Here’s the official pitch taken from the Lightbringer: Genesis Indiegogo campaign page:

Continuing the story of Carter Graham and Hannah Meeks in their war against the evil and corrupt Valkyrie Mart for the fate and soul of Pharos City, we bring you Lightbringer: Genesis Vol 2.

Now bestowed with the powers of the Lightbringer after being killed and resurrected by the henchmen of the “General Manager”, Carter and Hannah will come to discover just how evil the players of the corrupt box store conglomerate really are.

Lightbringer: Genesis Volume 2 takes a twist here and a turn there, amping up the stakes of it’s predecessor.

Backers can get a digital version of Lightbringer: Genesis Volume 2 for $6, while physical copies start at $12. If you have more cash to spend, you can also receive the following tchotchkes and extras:

  • Multiple copies of the book
  • Variant covers
  • A wall tapestry of the cover image
  • A baseball cap
  • Poster
  • Trading cards
  • Sketch cards
  • Original artwork
  • A copy of the first Lightbringer book if you want to catch up

It is also worth noting that there is an additional shipping charge starting at $10 for those in the United States.
