Haunted Pizza recently added a black and white art edition to the crowdfunding campaign for Koni Waves, a 56-page supernatural action/horror graphic novel.

The project is already fully funded and rolling well along, having raised more than $12 thousand at the time of this writing. With just over two days left in the funding period, however, your window on backing the project may be closing fast.

Written by Mark Poulton (Graveyard Shift, Savage Hawkman) & Mandy Summers (Gemshock, Jack the Ripper: Vampire Hunter) and featuring illustrations by Renzo Rodriguez (Impossible Stars, Viking Wolf ) and colors and lettering by Dexter Weeks (Avengelyne, Viking Wolf ), this new book acts as a reboot of the original Koni Waves series published by Arcana Studios.

Mark Poulton returns to the series that started his comic book career. Created by Mark Poulton, Stephen Sistilli and Dexter Weeks, Koni Waves tells the story of Koni Kanawai, a female detective in Honolulu, Hawaii, who specializes in supernatural cases. A friend’s murder leads Koni on a discovery of her island’s dark secret.
