“Al Capone, Vampire” Is Back for More Blood

A well-fed vampire…
…because he’s fat.
Independent comic book creator J.C. Vaughn recently launched a crowdfunding campaign for issue 2 of Al Capone, Vampire, a 56-page supernatural horror story with a mob movie-type twist.
The project is already fully funded, having raised more than $1 thousand at the time of this writing.
Written and created by Vaughn and featuring illustrations by Brendon & Brian Fraim and colors by House Imagi, Al Capone, Vampire is part of the larger Vampire, PA universe.
Here’s the official pitch taken from the Al Capone, Vampire Indiegogo campaign page:
The rise of the newly returned, newly vampiric Al Capone has made himself known to the underworld, and his goal to once again become the unrivaled crime boss of Chicago is in full swing.
Who can stand in his way?
Backers can get a signed or unsigned copy of Al Capone, Vampire issue 2 for $20. If ya’ got more dough ta’ spend (kill me), you can also receive the following tchotchkes and extras:
- Multiple copies of the book
- Variant covers
- A glow-in-the-dark cover
- Original artwork
- The chance to name a police officer in the book
- Copies of issue 1 if you need to catch up
It is also worth noting that there is an additional shipping charge starting at $7 for those in the United States.

Now all we need is a zombie Elliot Ness to take him down!
