Werewolf Fantasy Comic “BONDS: The Cursed Child” Now Available In-Demand (Crowdfunding Spotlight)

“I see wolf people.”
Independent comic book creator NyRiam recently launched a crowdfunding campaign for BONDS: The Cursed Child, a 77-page fantasy graphic novel.
The project is fully funded and currently available in-demand, having raised more than $10 thousand at the time of this writing.
Written and illustrated by NyRiam, The Cursed Child is the follow-up to BONDS: The Drive, which was successfully crowdfunded in 2021. The story follows a group of werewolves in the aftermath of the “Great Wolf War”, told with manga-inspired, black and white artwork.
Here’s the official pitch taken from the BONDS: The Cursed Child Indiegogo campaign page:
Leena’s prayers have been heard.
Along with her younger brother Jessie, she begins training, but the siblings aren’t the only werewolves at the training grounds.
The South Boarder Pack becomes a home to a wolf who can either bring it to the peak of prosperity or the verge of destruction.
Who is this mysterious wolf and will he have any impact on Leena’s goal of becoming the future Alpha?
Backers can get a digital copy of BONDS: The Cursed Child for $10, while physical copies start at $25. If you have more money to spend, you can also receive the following tchotchkes and extras:
- Multiple copies of the book
- Art miniprints
- An additional 22-page origin story titled BONDS: Exiled
- Copies of BONDS: The Drive if you want to catch up
It is also worth noting that there is an additional shipping charge starting at $12 (!) for those in the United States.
