Their Tale of Time and Terror Continues in “Stoker & Wells” Book 2 (Crowdfunding Spotlight)
Steven Peros recently launched a crowdfunding campaign for Stoker & Wells: the Ashes of Revenge, a 60-page alternate history graphic novel with a horror/sci-fi spin.
The project is currently struggling to achieve its crowdfunding goal, as it is currently sitting at less than 25 percent funded with only a couple of days left in the initial funding period.
Written by Peros and featuring illustrations by Barry Orkin, The Ashes of Revenge picks up where the first Stoker & Wells book left off, with the time-traveling duo having returned to their own time (after a “most excellent adventure?”).
Here’s the official pitch taken from the Stoker & Wells: the Ashes of Revenge Indiegogo campaign page:
In our first book, 20-something screw-up, H.G. Wells, met a 40-something theater manager, Bram Stoker, which led the two writers on a 48-hour sci-fi/horror time-traveling adventure that became the creative inspiration for both writer’s first great work — DRACULA and THE TIME MACHINE!
In the new book, (which begins with a 3-page recap of Book One) Stoker & Wells have successfully returned home from the violent dystopia of 5984 to London of 1894, but the pull of time travel and what they left behind is strong. Even stronger is…
The horror of what they brought back!
