Independent comic book creator Dionysios recently teamed with Riot Press Comics to launch a crowdfunding campaign for issue 1 of The Tome of Reckoning, the 48-page start to a new horror fantasy series. If the title sounds familiar, this is Dionysios’s second attempt at getting The Tome of Reckoning off the ground via crowdfunding.

Written and illustrated by Dionysios and featuring colors by Jewel Jones, this first issue of The Tome of Reckoning is described as a “horror-fueled, road trip adventure, set during an impending apocalypse.”

Backers can get a copy of The Tome of Reckoning for $10. If you have more cash to spend, you can also receive the following tchotchkes and extras:

• Multiple copies of the book
• Variant covers
• Art prints

It is also worth noting that there is an additional shipping charge starting at $10 for those in the United States.
