Got Superhero Fatigue? Get Splatto Comics’ “Superhero Fatigue”

Don’t sleep on this one! (Kill me)

This past weekend, Splatto Comics launched a crowdfunding campaign for Superhero Fatigue, a twist on the superhero genre described as The Rockford Files meets The Boys.

The project is already fully funded, having raised $15 thousand at the time of this writing.

Written by Richard C. Meyer (Jawbreakers, Iron Sights) and Chuck Dixon (Batman) and featuring illustrations by Sergio Cariello (The Action Bible) and colors by Brett Smith (Jawbreakers), Superhero Fatigue follows the adventures of “a retired NYPD detective brokers an uneasy peace between superpowered individuals and normal people.”

Here’s the official pitch taken from the Superhero Fatigue Indiegogo campaign page:

Eddie Keener is a seasoned private investigator operating in a city teeming with superheroes and supervillains. His latest assignment involves delivering divorce papers to She-Wolf, a fierce and unpredictable superheroine. This seemingly simple task quickly spirals into chaos, showcasing Eddie’s resilience and knack for navigating the superhuman world.

Eddie’s investigation leads him to Amphibiman, whose daughter has mysteriously vanished. Eddie’s search for the missing girl takes him from seedy nightclubs to the hidden lairs of notorious villains. Along the way, he leverages his unique network of contacts, blending street smarts with high-tech gadgets.

As Eddie delves deeper into the case, he uncovers a web of secrets and alliances, revealing the complex relationships between the superpowered and the ordinary. His journey is fraught with danger, from high-flying vigilantes to aquatic adversaries, all while maintaining his dry wit and determination.

Through it all, Eddie remains steadfast, employing his detective skills and a touch of ingenuity to unravel the truth!

Backers can get a copy of Superhero Fatigue for $15. If you have more money to spend, you can also pick up several books from the Splatto Comics back catalogue.

It is also worth noting that there is an additional shipping charge starting at $10 for those in the United States.
