After a ten-year development time, Seclusion: Islesbury, a first-person point-and-click horror adventure from Turkey’s Silent Game House, now has a publisher. Senscape, the Argentine development studio behind ASYLUM and Serena, is launching a publishing division, and Seclusion: Islesbury is its first signing.

You play as Detective Jason Endel, poking around Islesbury, a town fading away after a series of violent and unexplained riots (not based on recent events—it’s been in development for ten years, after all). Confronted by locals losing their minds and strange sounds around every corner, Detective Endel explores the town’s empty streets and ruined buildings hoping to solve a decade-old murder case.

Instead of relying on jump scares, Seclusion: Islesbury intends to immerse the player in a creepy, haunting atmosphere reminiscent of the horror tales of H.P. Lovecraft. For those brave enough to venture forth, you will have an estimated fifteen hours of gameplay to explore, solve logical puzzles, collect clues and solve the mystery.

Seclusion: Islesbury is scheduled to release on PC in 2027.
