After finally being inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame this year, former wide receiver Terrell Owens has also been named the cover athlete for a special Hall of Fame Edition of Madden 19. The cover athlete for the standard edition of Madden 19 will be announced at a later date.

This isn’t the first time that T.O. has graced the cover of an NFL game. SEGA put him on the cover ESPN NFL 2K5 back when Electronic Arts didn’t have a monopoly on the NFL license.

Owens will be sporting his Dallas Cowboys jersey on the cover despite playing for several other teams during his 16 years in the NFL. In fact, T.O. was a bit infamous in Dallas even before he joined the Cowboys, though Cowboys fans would eventually forgive him. Watch the video below to see why.

Madden 19: Hall of Fame Edition will release on August 7. The standard edition will be available on August 10.
