The Indiegogo campaign for horror comic “Graveyard Shift” hits #SixFiguresBitch!

On Sunday, the Indiegogo campaign for independent horror comic Graveyard Shift crossed the $100k threshold, joining other crowdfunded comic book projects as Cyberfrog, Jawbreakers, Red Rooster and Bigfoot Bill in the coveted #SixFiguresBitch club (occasionally referred to erroneously as the “six figures young lady club). Graveyard Shift is a 46-page graphic novel described as “the Universal Monsters meets the X-Men,” and helmed by two comic industry veterans, writer Mark Poulton (The Savage Hawkman) and artist Jon Malin (Cable, Jawbreakers). Malin celebrated in typical form via his YouTube channel, which you can watch below.

Jon Malin was also kind enough to answer some questions for us here at The Splintering in August, in which he discussed his art style, inspirations for Graveyard Shift, and other topics. You can read our full interview with Malin here.

Congratulations to Jon Malin, Mark Poulton and everyone else involved in the Graveyard Shift project. You can still buy into the Graveyard Shift project as the Indiegogo page remains an in-demand store for the time being.
