High-stakes heist comic “The Knox” launches Indiegogo campaign

Over the weekend, the crowdfunding campaign for a new heist comic The Knox launched on Indiegogo. Described as “Coen Brothers film meeting a marriage of Ocean’s 11 and The A-Team“, The Knox is a 60-page graphic novel created by Andrew Anderson and Ron McCain.
Here’s a summary of the project taken from the Indiegogo page.
“The Knox is about a squad of soldiers who have had a string of bad luck since returning from Vietnam. One lost his legs, the other lost his store, the others aren’t doing too well either. They hatch a plan to rob Fort Knox. The robery was the easy part, getting away with it is the hard part. Cutting deals with the mob isn’t the easy street that it sounded like. Betrayal is around the corner for all.”
Backers can get a digital version of the book for $10, while physical copies of The Knox will cost $20 (though that also comes with a poster). Those with a bit more cash to spend can also get original artwork, and there’s also a “support the troops” tier in which the backer will receive a copy of The Knox while nine copies will be sent to U.S. Military service members.
Anderson and McCain expect to release The Knox in summer 2019. In the meantime, you can check out some sample artwork below or visit the full Indiegogo page here.
