Alterna Comics launches Christmas charity drive supporting Shriners Hospitals for Children

Earlier this week, Alterna Comics founder Peter Simeti announced AlternaMas, a new Christmas-themed event benefiting kids who could use a bit of escapism. Starting Sunday, 2 December, for every comic purchased through the online Alterna Comics store, Alterna will donate an all-ages comic to the Shriners Hospital for Children.

You can watch Simeti’s full announcement in the video below.

Shriners Hospitals for Children is a network of 22 non-profit medical facilities across North America. Children with orthopaedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate are eligible for care and receive all services in a family-centered environment, regardless of the patients’ ability to pay.*

The AlternaMas drive ends on 15 December, or you can donate directly to Shriners Hospitals for Children here. Either way, so get a little, give a little, and who knows? Maybe your heart will grow three sizes.
