Recently, data miners cracked the source code behind the most recent update (ver. 1.12) to Bandai Namco’s Soulcalibur VI, perhaps revealing the next DLC characters, and perhaps a full second set of DLC characters to be sold as a second season.

The remaining DLC characters are obviously named as Amy and Cassandra, though there are six remaining fighters referred to only by code names, indicating a second season of DLC is on the way.

Who are these six mystery fighters? Prominent YouTube creator Dynasty thinks he may have solved the riddle. Below are his best guesses.

• Stone = Rock (duh)

• Yell = Yun-Seong (as a counterpart to Hwang, below?)

• Star = Algol (Algol is also the name of a star)

• Snow = Setsuka (name means “snow flower” in Japanese)

• Reptile = Lizardman/Aeon Calcos

• Yellow = Hwang (name means “yellow” in Korean)

It’s worth pointing out that this is unconfirmed information, and in the case that a second set of DLC does in fact materialize for Soulcalibur VI, the above guesses could be wrong. Perhaps Bandai Namco has more guest characters in store, making the work of predicting the list far more difficult. Who knows? Maybe “yell” refers to Billy Idol? Hey, it’s better than Shaggy, ya’ chump muffins.
