Altus confirms western release for “Persona Q2”, unveils huge special edition

Atlus has confirmed that Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth will be getting a western release (US and Europe) on June 4th 2019. In addition to the standard version of the game ($40), Atlus also unveiled a massive “Showtime” Premium Edition for $70.

Here’s what those extra bucks buy:

Persona Q2 New Cinema Labyrinth Nintendo merchandise

  • Art book
  • Deck of character playing cards
  • Koromaru plush
  • Set of four buttons (also included with pre-orders)

Persona Q2 is a spin-off title centered around the Phantom Thieves of Persona 5, though other characters from the Persona series will join the Phantom Thieves throughout the adventure, sometimes granting team-up bonus rewards through the “Unison” system.

Players will fight their way through several dungeons, each designed to evoke a different movie genre (as implied by the New Cinema Labyrinth subtitle). Atlus, since Persona Q2 is already a mature-rated game, could we get a Debbie Does Dallas-themed dungeon? It’s not like you’re releasing the game on a Sony platform….

Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth is scheduled to release on 4 June 2019 for Nintendo 3DS.
