Indiegogo campaign for maritime horror book “Longharbor” ends successfully
On Tuesday, the crowdfunding campaign for Alejandro Mirabal’s new horror graphic novel Longharbor ended successfully, raising roughly 330% of its original funding goal for a total of over $50 thousand. At that total, the Longharbor campaign also achieved its stretch goal of adding 15 pages to the final book for a girthy total of 85 pages.
A “Lovecraftian” graphic novel written and illustrated by Alejandro Mirabal, Longharbor is also the first book from a new indie comic publishing venture Hollow Owl.
Here’s a plot summary taken from the Longharbor Indiegogo page.
“Years after surviving the mysterious tragedy that led to the death of his crew, Gary recounts the events to a journalist, as the ship takes them back to the infamous shores of Longharbor , where it all happened. A journey between reality up above and the nightmares below the waves, in which men are just as cruel as the monsters they’ll encounter.”
Sad you missed out? Don’t feel too bad. The Longharbor crowdfunding page has transitioned to an in-demand store for a limited time, so you’ve still got a chance to preorder Longharbor if you act quickly.
Congratulations to Alejandro Mirabal and the rest of the Hollow Owl team. You can visit the Longharbor Indiegogo page here.
