“Lonestar: Soul of the Soldier” Indiegogo campaign ends successfully; raises more than $150k
Earlier this week, the crowdfunding campaign for Mike S. Miller’s Lonestar: Soul of the Soldier ended successfully, raising 15,243% of its original goal for a total of over $150 thousand dollars. Six figures, bit young lady!
Written and illustrated by Miller, Lonestar is a superhero action/adventure featuring a main character designed as a “star-spangled” hero in the same vein as Wonder Woman or the Fighting American, but in Lonestar’s case, he’s outfitted like a “Captain Texas” version of F-Zero’s Captain Falcon. Soul of the Soldier is the second Lonestar book, following Heart of the Hero, which shipped earlier this year.

Upset that you missed out on the campaign? You’re in luck, as the Soul of the Soldier crowdfunding page has transitioned to an in-demand store, so you can still preorder a copy for a limited time.
Congratulations to Mike S. Miller and the rest of the Lonestar team.
