On Tuesday, comic book creator Sean Gordon Murphy held an “ask me anything” session on social media, fielding questions about his projects past, present, and yes- future. In response to a question on his upcoming plans, Murphy indicated that he will crowdfund a project via Indiegogo when he completes his work on Curse of the White Knight for DC Comics.

Murphy is quickly becoming known as a talented creator who sets the gold standard for interacting with fans in a professional manner. His Curse of the White Knight is the follow-up to the very well-received Batman: White Knight, so it would be very interesting to see if he can repeat that success with a creator-owner property. It should be noted, however, that Murphy provided zero details of his upcoming crowdfunding project, so it could still be something other than a standard graphic novel, like an art book.
