SEGA files trademark for “Persona 5 Strikers”

Earlier this week, SEGA registered a trademark for Persona 5 Strikers, which is likely a sign that Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers will be localized for a western release with an abbreviated title.
As Rice Digital points out, other games in the Persona series have had their names shortened for releases outside of Japan. If indeed Persona 5 Strikers is the same game, then it’s an an musou-style game co-developed by P-Studio and Omega Force which crosses Atlus’ Persona series and Koei Tecmo’s Dynasty Warriors.
The Japanese release of Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers is scheduled for 20 February 2020 for PS4 and Nintendo Switch. You can watch the reveal trailer for the game below.
