“Space Channel 5 VR” releases 25 February

After a late-breaking delay in 2019, SEGA‘s Space Channel 5 VR: Kinda Funky News Flash! is now set to arrive on 25 February. The game is coming to several mainstream virtual reality platforms, including PSVR, HTC Vive, Steam VR, and Oculus Rift.

You can watch the latest trailer for the game below.

Space Channel 5 is a unique rhythm/action/sci-fi franchise that started on the SEGA Dreamcast. You control “Space Channel 5” news reporter Ulala as she reports on an alien invasion, all the while trying to maintain ratings by showing off her funky dance moves. The game spawned a sequel on PS2, and both Ulala and her chief rival Pudding have since appeared in several SEGA crossover franchises, including Sonic All-Stars Racing, SEGA Superstars Tennis, and Project X Zone.

Are you pumped to get some Ulala action in VR (with some creative mod support, if we’re lucky)? Let us know in the comments!
