“Spirit of the North” coming to Nintendo Switch, PC this Spring

Merge Games recently announced that Infuse Studio’s adventure game Spirit of the North will be coming to both Windows PC and Nintendo Switch this Spring.

Originally released in 2019 for PS4, Spirit of the North is a 3rd-person puzzle adventure game inspired by Nordic lore. Players control a red fox who must assist the guardian of the Northern Lights as they traverse Icelandic environments, solve puzzles, and discover clues surrounding the mystery of a world in ruin.

Spirit of the North is a single-player 3rd-person adventure game inspired by the breathtaking and mysterious landscapes of Iceland. The story takes root from various pieces of Nordic folklore.

Players must breathe in their surroundings to solve various puzzles and speculate the meaning of a lost ancient civilization.

Play as an ordinary red fox whose story becomes entwined with the guardian of the Northern Lights, a female spirit fox. As you journey over the mountains and under red-stained skies, you’ll discover more about your companion and land left in ruin.
