Adam Driver confirmed as Reed Richards for MCU’s “Fantastic Four”
The MCU’s Fantastic Four film has found its leading man. In an interview with German website Das Voxel, Star Wars: the Rise of Skywalker‘s Adam Driver confirmed that he has agreed to play Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic in the upcoming Fantastic Four film.
“I’ve been looking for a place to jump into the Marvel films for a while,” says Driver. “Getting to play Mr. Fantastic will give me a chance to test my flexibility as an actor. Get it?”
Ha. Yes, we all get it Adam.
This confirmation comes after weeks of Fantastic Four casting speculation and rumors which included Terry Crews as The Thing, Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Doom, and Natalie Dormer as a gender-bent Human Torch. For those out of the know, Reed Richards has the ability to stretch his body to extreme proportions, is a super genious, and is the leader of the Fantastic Four superhero team,
When production of Marvel’s Fantastic Four film will actually start is anyone’s guess, but it’s good to see some details finally starting to fall into place. You can check out Driver’s full comments here.
