Second Chance to Grab Superhero/Western Comic “The Bobcat” Now on Indiegogo

Over the weekend, independent comic book creator James Hostler launched an Indiegogo campaign for issues 1-5 of The Bobcat, a steampunk fantasy comic series that takes place at the dawn of the Industrial Age.

Written by Hostler and illustrated by Jim Mehsling, The Bobcat blends superhero and Western elements with steampunk technology and Native American mythology. Here’s the official plot synopsis taken from the book’s Indiegogo campaign page:

The Bobcat: 1898 Indian Territory – Will Firemaker is a Cherokee blacksmith who is finding out that the ancient legends of the Tribe are true, and they are leading him to a world he never could have imagined.

This is actually second-chance campaign for Indiegogo customers, as The Bobcat series has already been crowdfunded on another platform. That means backers can get single issues (of issues #1-4) for $10 each, while issue #5 is $15, though it comes with a poster and decal. If you have more money to spend, you can get signed copies of the books, a t-shirt, poster print, a collected edition of issues 1-3, bundle multiple issues, original art, trading cards, and a bundle of all five issues if you need to catch up.
