John Buscema Artwork Stolen from Buscema Family in New York

The family of legendary comic book artist John Buscema has released a statement that a large trove of the late creator’s artwork has been stolen from the family.
Here is the statement from John Buscema’s daughter, Dianne Buscema-Gerogianis:
“I am reaching out to you all as 45 pieces of Dad’s original artwork was stolen from our family this morning. I cannot go into detail as the police and authorities have been notified.
I am asking to please contact me if you hear or see anything for sale. I cannot post photos of everything that has been taken, but I am posting some

Buscema’s career included highly regarded runs on Conan the Barbarian, Avengers and Silver Surfer for Marvel. At the time of his death from cancer in 2002, Buscema lived on Long Island, New York.
