Bark at the Moon! “Sovereign Wolf: Clan Destiny” Fully Funded on Indiegogo

Late last week, D.O.A. Comics (Dose of Action) launched a crowdfunding campaign for Sovereign Wolf: Clan Destiny, a new graphic novel that takes a sci-fi approach to lycanthrope (werewolves, ya’ dink!).

This 100-page book is intended as the first of an ongoing series, and includes multiple stories from the creative talent of writers Lucas Meyer, Gabriel Caitano, and Renan Shody, and featuring illustrations by Giuliano Peratelli, Michael Woods, and Angel Rd (pronounced “Erred,” maybe?). The best part? The project is already fully funded, so there should be no financial impediments to getting books to the backers.

But what the howl is Sovereign Wolf all about? Here’s the official plot synopsis taken from the Sovereign Wolf Indiegogo campaign page:

John Sovereign is an intern for NEO-C.R.O.M., the largest and most successful genetic engineering company in the world – but when he witnesses a gruesome event, he’ll discover a secret world where Shapeshifting Heroes battle Experimental Monstrosities, Interdimensional Demons, Genetically Enhanced Military Repo Men and Ancient Gods for the fate of humanity. Will he fall to these newly discovered evils? Or will he embrace the beast within and become the hero he was destined to be?

Backers can get a copy of the book, art print, and three trading cards for $25. For those with more cheddar to burn, you can also pick up variant covers, additional prints, a sketch card, and original artwork.
