The Internet Celebrates Chun Li Being Added to “Fortnite” (Gallery)

Epic Games recently added two new character skins to the Fortnite lineup: Street Fighter’s Ryu and Chun Li.

The resulting social media frenzy has been a joy to watch, even for me- who is not at all a Fortnite player. There are clearly those who are just now discovering why the leggy young lass is video games’ original Waifu, and there are others crying about how icky the her fully-clothed female form is in a “kids game”. For the record, Fortnite is rated “Teen” by the ESRB, and Chun Li’s look is completely on model with other Street Fighter games (which are also rated Teen).

Still, Epic Games has bent the knee to the outrage mob in the past, and they may very well do so again. So before Chun Li’s character model gets removed or altered, we thought we’d snag some of the screenshots floating around. They bring such happiness, after all.

Are you now able to overlook the fact that Fornite developer Epic Games is owned by Chinese tech conglomerate Tencent?

Does this make up for Capcom censoring both Street Fighter V and the most recent release of Street Fighter II?

Even if the answer to either is still “no”, there’s no harm in a guy lookin’, am I right? Oh, at least one image is the result of a mod. I’ll let you guess which ones. Look REALLY hard…
