Evoluzione’s Sci-Fi Anthology “Speed of Light” Races onto Indiegogo (Crowdfunding Spotlight)
Earlier this week, Evoluzione Publishing launched a crowdfunding campaign for Speed of Light issue 1, the first of what is planned to be an ongoing, bi-monthly, science fiction anthology series.
Each issue of Speed of Light will feature nine 8-page stories (that’s a total of 72 pages for you maths wizards out there), all with black and white art. Each story will be the work of different creators, and while some will be one-shots, others will continue in future issues as serialized stories. Each issue will also be square bound, a very underrated feature in crowdfunded comics, if I do say so myself…
Backers can get a digital PDF version of Speed of Light issue 1 for $8, while physical copies start at $20 (which also include a digital PDF). If you have extra cash to spend, there are multiple options for variant covers, as well as tiers that bundle several other books in both digital and physical form, including Armor-I, Against the World, Marassa, Babylon Working, and Dirty Work at the Crossroads. It is also worth noting that there is an additional shipping charge starting at $5 for physical backers in the United States.
The best part? The Speed of Light project is already fully funded, so now the only thing that Evoluzione has to worry about is printing and fulfillment- and starting work on issue 2, I suppose.
