Wolfpack Comics’ “Justice City Chronicles” Brings 80s-Inspired Action to Indiegogo (Crowdfunding Spotlight)
On Monday, Wolfpack Comics launched a crowdfunding campaign for Justice City Chronicles Volume 1, an 80-page superhero adventure book set in an bleak future.
Written by Marcus DiGesu and featuring illustrations by Anthony Figaro, Justice City Chronicles is heavily inspired by action cartoons of the 1980s. Here’s the official plot synopsis taken from the Justice City Chronicles Indiegogo campaign page:
This Volume goes into the Republic of Etora, down to the halls of the Praetorian Academy which lies at the heart of Justice City to find one of our main Heroes. Nero is a Prideful young cadet that has trained all his life and is on the verge of becoming a member of the Legendary Praetorian’s like his father before him. The Praetorian’s are an Elite class of warriors tasked with keeping the peace after the Great War nearly destroyed their world.
Nero’s first mission as a Praetorian, to babysit a group of elite dignitaries on a routine diplomatic tour of the out-land regions. That Quickly changes when their Transport ship is attacked and shot down. What was once a routine mission now threatens to become the catalyst that will throw the world back into Bloody War and at the center of it all is the Praetorian’s newest recruit Nero!
