Earlier this week, Genuine Comics’ crowdfunding campaign for Perfect 10 issue two was fully funded on Indiegogo, with over two weeks remaining in the initial crowdfunding period.

Written and created by Dave Brink (Earthling) and featuring illustrations by Pow Rodrix (Wolverine), colors by Daniel Rodrigues (Earthling: Indie Wars) and lettering by Joel Saavedra (Berserkers), Perfect 10 is a 28-page action adventure book with a superhero flare.

Here’s the brief story synopsis taken from the Perfect 10 Indiegogo campaign page:

Perfect 10 tells the story of an artificial assassin named Ten, who finds herself hunted by superpowered murderers.

Burdened with guilt over a past she can’t remember, Ten decides to fight instead of hide, throwing herself into a battle she can’t possible survive.

Or can she?

Backers can get a digital version of Perfect 10 issue two for $10, while physical copies start at $15. If you have more cash to spend, you can also pick up signed copies of the book, a mini-poster, original artwork, and copies of all previous books by Genuine Comics (including Perfect 10 issue one if you need to catch up). It is worth noting that there is an additional shipping charge starting at $24 for those in the United States (it has to be shipped from across the pond in Europe, of course).

Congratulations to Brink, Rodrix, and the rest of the Perfect 10 production team. On a final note, however, I have a personal bone to pick with the creators: Can Ten really be considered a “Perfect 10” with short hair like that?
