Scattered Comics’ “Shadow Hunters: Bite Me!” Fully Funded on Indiegogo (Crowdfunding Spotlight)

Earlier this month, Scattered Comics launched a crowdfunding campaign for Shadow Hunters: Bite Me!, a 40-page book filled with “blood blood, gore, partial nudity and vampire violence” (in other words, for mature readers).

Written and co-illustrated by Jason Dube and co-illustrated by Noel Serrato, Shadow Hunters is a self-contained tale set in the same world as Lylith & Mara.

Here’s the official plot synopsis taken from the Shadow Hunters Indiegogo campaign page:

“SHADOW HUNTERS” : Bite Me! Follows the story of the rebellious half vampire who prefers her smokes and cold beer over drinking blood. Between the peer pressure of her clan insisting she feeds, and her enemies who see her defiance as a weakness, she refuses to give up what little is left of her humanity. Even if it means losing everything.

Shadow Hunters is already fully funded, but there is still plenty of time to buy into the project. Backers can get a digital version for $5, while physical copies (signed, if you like) start at $20. If you have more cash to spend, you can also pick up multiple copies of the book, variant covers, a t-shirt, poster, original art, a separate Shadow Hunters tie-in book, and also a copy of Lylith & Mara if you want to jump into the world at ground level. It is also worth noting that there is an additional shipping charge starting at $12 for those in the United States.
