Centennial Comics’ Sexy Sci-Fi Thriller “Angel’s Awakening” Now on Indiegogo

On Thursday, Centennial Comics launched a crowdfunding campaign for Angel’s Awakening, which has already raised approximately 25 percent of its funding goal at the time of this writing.

Written and created by Daniel Parker and featuring illustrations by Bogdan Ristea and letters by (drum roll…) Eric Weathers, Angel’s Awakening is a 32-page sci-fi thriller comic book thriller starring a sexy, superpowered spy.

Here’s the official plot synopsis taken from the Angel’s Awakening Indiegogo campaign page:

One hundred years in the future, Jessica Sawyer is a spy with the psychic ability of teleportation. On her first mission, she is sent deep into enemy territory to recover a body in cryogenic stasis which is vital to the security of her homeland. Jessica must call on all her training and abilities to complete her mission as a powerful water elemental stands in her way.

Backers can get a digital version of Angel’s Awakening for $10, while physical copies of the book start at $15. If you have more cash to spend, you can also receive multiple copies of the book, variant covers, a poster, and original artwork. It is also worth noting that there is no additional shipping charge for those in the United States.

According to the campaign page, the book is already finished, even down to the lettering. All that remains is to raise funds for printing and shipping. You can check out some sample artwork below or visit the full Angel’s Awakening Indiegogo campaign page here.
