Allegiance Arts’ “The Saints” Fully Funded on Indiegogo

On Tuesday, Allegiance Arts Entertainment launched a crowdfunding campaign for The Saints, an all-new 52+ page graphic novel written by Mike Baron and illustrated by Christian Rosado.
Like previous Allegiance Arts projects, The Saints will likely find a home on WalMart store shelves as individual issues, but the Indiegogo campaign will fund the graphic novel “premiere” edition. At the time of this writing, the campaign is already fully funded, having raised more than $5 thousand.
Here’s the official plot synopsis taken from The Saints’ Indiegogo campaign page:
On the cusp of a discovery that would rewrite history, world-renowned archeologist Jean Marc LaPointe finds himself in the crosshairs of dark and dangerous conspirators that will go to any length to keep their secrets. LaPointe, now an international fugitive with nowhere left to run, is recruited by The Saints, a covert society guarding secrets too terrible to be known and tasked with saving the world from an ancient menace.

Backers can get a copy of The Saints for $25. If you have more cash to spend, you can also pick up multiple copies of the book, a bookmark, sticker, trading card set, poster, lapel pin, sketchbook, a case of “Flaming Joe” energy drink (WTF?), and the opportunity to have your name included on the “Thank you” page in the book. There’s also a tier that includes the Allegiance Arts graphic novel, Red Rooster. It is also worth noting that there is an additional shipping charge starting at $10 for those in the United States.
