Following a successful crowdfunding campaign via Indiegogo, father and son creative team Shaun and Parker Davis are bringing their superhero adventure Pillowman and Blanketboy to the masses via Star Cross Comics.

Unlike the crowdfunded project, the Star Cross edition of Pillowman and Blanketboy is split across three issues at $4.99 a pop (as opposed to a single graphic novel).

But what is Pillowman and Blanketboy? Here’s the brief story synopsis taken from the Star Cross Comics website:

Pillowman and Blanketboy are put to the test when a seemingly pleasant night is rocked by an explosion at a single warehouse. An innocent security guard is caught in the crosshairs of the evil Velocity One and his army of killer bots.

Can our heroes react quickly enough and save the day?
